This star studded concert brings together some of the brightest luminaries in traditional music.

“These are artists that have found their own voice in the music…Dynamic and powerful musicians” Martin Hayes. The audience will be treated to music and songs from legendary singers Maighréad (Skara Brae) and her sister, Tríona Ní Dhomhnaill vocals & piano, (Skara Brae & The Bothy Band), fiddler Martin Hayes (The Gloaming), guitarist Dennis Cahill (The Gloaming) and uilleann piper David Power (Pipers Union). It will be a unique tribute to the men and women that lived, fought and died at moments in our island`s history. Commemorating 1916, `Love, Loss & Rebellion` will feature well-known songs from `Roisín Dubh` and `Spanish Lady` to `The Boys of Barr na Sráide`. SGC Dungarvan has broadcast live coverage of many prestigious arts events in the past, but this is the first time that the 270-seater theatre venue will be used for a live concert performance.
